Zumba

Mondays 9:00am to 9:50am

Wednesdays 6:30pm to 7:30pm

A fun, funky low impact fusion of world dances some of which includes Latin, Belly Dance, African pop and Caribbean dance.  Let the energy and rhythms set you free and feel the joy of music from within. Easy to learn, joyful inspired moves that will stir your soul and tone your body. Come give it a try and shake your groove thing!

Core Pilates

Mondays 10:00am to 11:00am

This energetic class will be helpful in increasing deep core and back strength, pelvic floor muscle strength, total body strength, flexibility, balance, and improve your coordination and breath awareness.

Equipment needed – Mat and yoga block

Classes start the week of January 20th

All classes are for 10 weeks with a cost $150 per class. (Cash Only)

Dance started at an early age for Libby with training in Creative dance movement and Tap dance to name a few. From there, her Lebanese, Irish and Newfoundland heritage, love of movement, music and the freedom experienced by both, joyfully influenced her passion for dance and fitness.

Her background and experiences are wide and varied and she has found her way back to the Valley after operating her own wellness studio “Heartshine Wellness” for 20 years in West Lawrencetown, HRM, NS. Teaching classes in Yoga, Zumba, Belly dance, Kettle bell, Kick box, Pilates. And offering massage therapy and personal training.

Presently, Libby enjoys her busy practice as a Registered Massage Therapist in Kentville. And will soon be opening another practice from her home in South Berwick called Heartshine Wellness for women and wellness.
