Tuesdays, 9am to 10am and Sundays, 6pm to 7pm – Yoga For Wellness (Beginner and All Levels)
please bring: yoga mat, 2 blankets and a small towel.

  • build balance, strength and stability
  • slower-paced class with longer holds of poses
  • soften tight areas of the body
  • standing, sitting, lying postures
  • respectful of any injuries or health issues

Cost: $50 prepaid for 4 classes or $15 drop-in fee

About Monika

When Monika started her yoga journey many years ago, she was drawn to yoga classes in which the instructors had a strong understanding of body movement. She then trained to be a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and now uses her knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform how she teaches. Assisting people to move safely into and out of their yoga poses as a yoga instructor combines powerfully with the skills she uses as an RMT to help people out of their pain.

Monika’s yoga classes are focused on increasing strength, balance, and flexibility using a dynamic style that includes breathwork, yoga flow, resistance bands, weights, mindfulness, and meditation.

Yoga class attendees are teens all the way up to seniors. Classes are designed and delivered with beginners in mind, as well as for all levels. Alternative poses are given if people cannot access a certain movement.
