COVID-19 Waiver

All members must sign below agreeing they have read and understood the new procedures and waiver before they are able to use the fitness room. Your key fob will not be activated until a waiver is signed.


Please remember that the Fitness Room is run by volunteers only and with the high touch cleaning that needs to be done we have limited our operating hours and available resources.

These new set rules are for the safety of all members and volunteers. Failure to follow these rules may result in temporary or permanent suspension of membership. We ask that you please be respectful to fellow members while in our facility to workout. These rules are new to everyone and we expect it will take time to get into our new routine.

New Operating Hours  

  • Monday to Saturday 7:00am – 7:00pm
  • Sunday CLOSED

When entering the WCC, you will be required to wear a mask until the start of your workout. We ask that you maintain social distancing guidelines and remain 6ft from each other at all times unless they are in your immediate household/bubble.

You will be required to sanitize your hands upon arrival.

The sign in sheet will be removed so as not to have everyone touching the same pen.

All the washrooms will be open however the showers are not to be used.

Follow all “enter” and “exit” signs

No more than 10 people are allowed in the fitness room at one time.

Users MUST wipe down equipment after use.

We ask if any members are experiencing any of the following symptoms that you do not enter our facility.

  • Fever (i.e. chills, sweats)
  • Cough or worsening of a previous cough
  • Sore throat
  • Headache
  • Shortness of breath
  • Muscle aches
  • Sneezing
  • Nasal Congestion/runny nose
  • Hoarse voice
  • Diarrhea
  • Unusual fatigue
  • Loss of sense of smell or taste
  • Red, purple or bluish lesions, on the feet, toes or fingers without clear cause

At this time shared items such as mats, balls and bands will be unavailable for use. Please bring your own.

Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the facility and encourage members to sanitize their hands diligently before and throughout your workout.

When leaving we ask that you swipe your key fob on the fitness room reader in case contact tracing is required.

We also suggest that all members download and install the COVID 19 app to your phone.

    By using the Woodville Community Centre Fitness Room, I agree to the following:

    I am fully aware that COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that can result in a serious medical condition requiring hospitalization and possibly death to those that contract COVID-19. I am also fully aware that by entering Woodville Community Centre facility I am assuming the risks of contracting COVID-19 notwithstanding the infection control measures the Woodville Community Centre has put in place to protect volunteers and visitors at the Facility.

    The Woodville Community Centre is not responsible for the contraction of COVID-19, or any death, injury, loss or damage of any kind suffered by any person resulting from contraction of COVID-19 or other illness while using the Fitness Room at the Woodville Community Centre.

    I am aware of all Public Health COVID -19 guidelines, including but not limited to physical distancing, increased hygiene and handwashing, and the wearing of non-medical masks. I agree to follow these guidelines, as well as all other rules and regulations related to facility use set out by the Woodville Community Centre.
