COVID-19 UPDATE

WOODVILLE, NOVA SCOTIA, SEPTEMBER 30, 2020 – The Woodville Community Centre Board of Directors wishes to provide the residents of Woodville and Kings County with a COVID-19 Update for the Woodville Community Centre.

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR and COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS POTLUCK
Due to the ongoing Public Health Restrictions the Woodville Community Centre Board of Directors has decided to cancel both these festive events for 2020. We look forward to them in 2021.

COMMUNITY CENTRE
The Woodville Community Centre Board of Directors is working on a plan to reopen the Community Centre to smaller groups. This plan will include Public Health guidelines to ensure the health and safety of the facility users. More details will be provided as soon as possible.

FITNESS ROOM
The Woodville Community Centre Board of Directors would like to thank all the Fitness Room members for being patient during the closure. We are currently working on a plan that will include Public Health guidelines to ensure the health and safety of the Fitness Room users. All memberships will be extended appropriately. More details will be provided as soon as possible.

TENNIS COURTS and HIKING TRAILS
This is a reminder that these are both open to the public. Get out and enjoy the fall weather and colours.

ANNUAL CHICKEN BARBEQUE
The Woodville Community Centre Board of Directors are starting to work on a plan to host our 49th Annual Chicken Barbeque. It will look much different this year but our intentions are to hold the Barbeque in 2021 with the health and safety of all our dedicated patrons. Again, more information will be provided as soon as possible.

As we continue to monitor Public Health guidelines we will provide updates.
